Duties & Responsibilities
Job purpose:
- Establish the sub-directorate’s vision, goals, objectives and policies in order to ensure that Operational plans, policies and procedures contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the sub- directorate and supports the accomplishment of service delivery objectives.
- Identify, recommend and guide stakeholder engagement and collaboration opportunities to reach Departmental and Municipal objectives.
- Manage and build relationships with experts and specialist within area of expertise/responsibility on national, provincial and district level.
- Manage the provisioning of legal services in respect of governance and corporate affairs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislative, statutory, regulatory and supervisory requirements towards the achievement of assigned projects and goals.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications and experience required:
- A Degree in Civil Engineering/Transportation Engineering.
- Appropriate Professional Registration.
- Valid Code EB driver’s license.
- Eight years’ relevant experience.
